Information about the company
The ORLEN Asfalt sp. z. o.o. is a member of the ORLEN Capital Group and one the largest manufacturer and distributor of bitumens. On July 21st, 2003, the company by this name entered the National Court Register of the 14th Economic Department under No. KRS 0000044178. The company stock is held by the PKN ORLEN SA and the Trzebinia Refinery with 82.46% and 17.54% shares respectively. The seed capital amounts to 60,635,000 zlotys. The company authorities make the general meeting of shareholders, the board of trustees, and the board of directors.
Our staff is made up of 150 employees: 107 people in Płock – 59 among them are engaged in bitumen production; 43 people in Trzebinia – 32 out of them are directly involved in bitumen production.
Our aim is a broadly understood development, retaining a principal position on the market and leading the field in bitumens. Owing to the experienced and qualified staff, the company is inflexibly able to improve and develop its market activity, and to ensure the long term increase of assets through the highest quality products offered to our customers. As a transparent company, we pursue all our activities not only maintaining principles of the ORLEN SA Capital Group corporate order, but caring for development of our employees and looking after natural environment as well. Since 2005 the company has been operating in accordance with the integrated Management System after ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 standards.
We are aware that it would be impossible without a stable company management system supported by instruments securing its effectiveness. Currently a wide range of bitumens are on offer: ORBITON modified , BITREX multi-type, industrial bitumen, bitumen adhesives and bitumen agents. In 2006 the company started up one of the biggest and the most up-to-date in Europe manufacturing installation for ORBITON modified bitumens of the output coming to 500 tonnes per day or 70,000 tonnes per year. Thanks to that system the ORLEN company has been well prepared to supply the largest road investments in Poland.
The ORLEN Asfalt sp. z. o.o. has two production-distribution centres in Płock and Trzebinia from where its products have been delivered to customers from all over Poland.
In consequence of the ORLEN Group expansion on the Czech company Unipetrol a.s. and the Lithuanian Mažeikių (Możejki) Nafta Refinery, and looking for an optimal trade policy and the synergetic effect in bitumen sales, the close co-operation between our foreign partners within the framework of ORLEN Group has been developed.
